Our council's mission is to support all educators, with emphasis on promoting literacy and fostering the love of reading. We had a great "Meet and Greet" at Eaton Middle School. There was delicious food and wonderful fellowship between teachers from all over Hampton. There were displays from Newspapers in Education, Virginia Readers' Choice, and our scrapbooks and Hall of Councils display boards. Thanks to all who took time from their busy schedules to attend!
